About TongueTied

TongueTied is a multilingual word game in which you can test and stretch your vocabulary in up to three languages, all on one board and earning extra points through a range of hidden twists.

Where it started, why it started

One of us was frustrated that she couldn’t compete with her German husband at German Scrabble, but also couldn’t lure him into games of English Scrabble, where she would dominate in her native tongue. The other two of us love languages and were looking for something to build. In other words, kismet (Bridge: DE EN).

The game is a digital child of two human impulses, pride and curiosity, and we hope these roots show up in its personality — celebrating what its players know while also urging them to learn more, with friends as their guides.
