What do you think of TongueTied's look?

In which you are introduced to the Isar.

TongueTied, under different creators, might have looked like this:

An alternative TongueTied design — bright, Candy-Land-at-the-Casino

But we decided quickly against "Candy Land at the Casino" as our guiding aesthetic. I thought we could instead offer players something you don't see all that often on your screen: a piece of nature. And the nature I spend most of my time with is the banks of the Isar river in Munich. I sent Ezra a few lines describing this vision — the board as sun-bleached stones; the tiles as wet rocks, umber shrubs, and the river's famously greenish hue; night mode the feeling of a midnight stroll on the wooded paths nearby — and some photos, too.

Ezra came back with something very close to the board you're playing on today. For being such a mild palate, it provokes strong reactions. Some of you find it beautiful. Others — chiefly our children — hate it. We will be doing a design refresh at some point soon and are curious what you'd like to see changed. Write to us with feedback.

As always, thanks for the feedback,

Rose
