Which came first?

Chronologically, it was clearly Challenge #4 that first delivered eggs to the table, and TongueTied players devoured the puzzle greedily. Greta L. unscrambled the word in all six languages in 11.9 seconds, faster than anyone has beat any Challenge up to now.

But behind the curtain, the chicken-or-egg question is a bit more complicated. We recently linked Challenges and Words of the Week, and we were wanting an easier WOW this week than, say, OLEICAT. And on a longer timescale, WOWs preceded Challenges as we experimented with features and even whole new games that you might enjoy.

Those experiments have yielded something new… but more on that tomorrow.
